The BBC is looking at getting back into the videogames market with a Top Gear and Doctor Who licensed game.
The British broadcaster is looking for developers and publishers to help turn some of their biggest franchises into successful videogames. The UK (real) version of Top Gear is predicted to attract over 350 million viewers worldwide, many of which are keen gamers, suggesting there'll be a high demand for the game.
The company will focus on the Wii and DS for children's shows, such as In The Night Garden, but will bring the Top Gear and Doctor Who games, if they go ahead, to a range of platforms.
